Kendall Corridor tier polygons and centerline from County GIS, retrieved 2026-08-17.
This is a geographic parcel count. It does not mean every property has an active application, is automatically rezoned, or will be redeveloped.
ProtectDade is currently focused on the Kendall Corridor and surrounding communities — one part of Miami-Dade County’s broader mapped transit-density geography. Along the Kendall Corridor, Miami-Dade County’s Comprehensive Development Master Plan maps 1/4-mile and 1/2-mile distance tiers that carry maximum density and floor-area values for qualifying development.
Being on this map does not rezone a property, and it does not mean an application has been filed nearby. It means County land-use policy may already support substantially more density in this area.
Four apartment projects. 261 units. Seven lots.
All inside an established single-family Kendall neighborhood. The same County land-use policy being used to pursue these projects applies to properties inside the Kendall Corridor bands.
